Large Breed dogs are generally easy to house train. He and the others in his pen eliminate in one small area of their pen, and this is a gauge to how quickly they will train at your home. WHY NOT ME has been waiting and waiting and I am SHOCKED no one has called me for this guy!!! HE is a gentleman and has a submissive nature towards humans yet brave when with the dogs. This handsome dog will be a good pet for a family with good-natured kids age 7 and older. He has great bone and good substance of body. He weighs in the 90 pound range. Transport may be available. Their story follows: A litter of older pups were running at large and raiding the campground of the Arrowhead Resort in West Central Bollinger County. The property owner was threatening to shoot them. Rightfully so as the owners were not keeping them at home and a pack of dogs can get into trouble. As it was they were scaring visitors, stealing their property for toys and trying to get their food when grilling. So we were called asking to help. The pups owner signed the 7 good-natured pups over to us. Dogs at large are always in danger of being shot, good and sweet-natured or not. The group that I took had never met me before but still they allowed their owner to pick them up and hand the 40-50 pound pups over the top of his porch railing into my arms and I carried them down to my truck and stuck them in crates with out any questionable behavior by them. I quickly learned that this litter has amazing temperaments. WE went straight to the vet where they were all tested Heartworm negative. All but one of the pups came up positive for Erlichia so we are treating them all for the tic condition even though no one has any symptoms. The pups were covered in ticks so it was no surprise.
